Daryl Lynn Cox, LCSW

Counseling Connections Clinics

Daryl Lynn Cox, LCSW is a licensed clinical social worker, entrepreneur, and passionate advocate for accessible mental health care. She is the owner and Clinical Director of Counseling Connections Clinic, where she leads a multidisciplinary team that includes a psychiatric nurse practitioner, substance use coach, and social work interns, providing comprehensive and compassionate care to individuals and families.

Her passion for expanding access to care led to the founding of The Massie Foundation, inspired by the loss of her sister, Terri, to suicide, and in honor of both her sister and mother who experienced mental health challenges. Through this work, Daryl Lynn recognized that many individuals go without critical mental health services due to lack of insurance or unaffordable co-pays.

Through the combined efforts of The Massie Foundation and Counseling Connections Clinic, Daryl is committed to bridging the gap to healing—ensuring that every individual has the opportunity to access care, cultivate resilience, and build a life of strength and hope.

 Sherry Maklary, EdD, MBA, MA, MST, CCMP, CPT, CVC, EFRI

A former Fortune 50 executive with 17 years as a global leader at Johnson & Johnson, Sherry brings a multidisciplinary lens to advancing mental health equity. As Board President, she champions innovation, access, and dignity in care—driving systems change powered by empathy, evidence, and bold, cross-sector insight. 

My name is Christine Jenkins, and I was born and raised in Spring Hill, Florida. I come from a large, close-knit family with five siblings—three brothers and two sisters—which helped shape my values of loyalty, strength, and compassion. I began my career in retail in 2007, working at Ross, later moving on to HSN, and eventually ending that chapter at Kirkland’s. I’ve since transitioned into the banking industry, where I continue to grow both personally and professionally.

Outside of work, I’m a proud wife and mother of two wonderful children. My

family is my greatest motivation and the heart of everything I do. I strive to build a life that reflects hard work, love, and integrity, while continuing to pursue new opportunities and create a meaningful future for those I love.

Yael is an accomplished sales and business development professional with a diverse background spanning the pool industry, real estate, healthcare, finance, and marketing. Throughout her career, she has built a reputation for developing strong relationships, bringing people together, and helping individuals and businesses identify opportunities for growth and success.

Currently serving as a Territory Sales Manager in the fiberglass pool industry, Yael works closely with businesses throughout Florida, focusing on relationship development, education, training, and long-term partnership. She is also a licensed real estate professional and brings extensive experience in sales, marketing, finance, and business development to everything she does.

Beyond her professional career, Yael has a genuine passion for helping others and giving back to her community. She believes that meaningful change often begins with people simply being willing to show up, get involved, and use their experience and resources to help someone else move forward.

Her involvement with the Massie Foundation reflects that commitment. Yael is proud to support an organization dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of others and looks forward to contributing her energy, experience, and passion for connecting people to further the Foundation’s mission.

Yen Clark, PMHNP-BC

Medication Management

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) dedicated to providing compassionate, culturally responsive care. I began my healthcare career as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Medication Technician, which shaped my foundation in patient-centered care. I later earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Nursing and Public Health, driven by my passion for improving community health and addressing disparities and inequities in underserved populations.

My experience spans rehabilitation, long-term care, and medical spa settings, caring for diverse populations across the lifespan. I pursued advanced training as a nurse practitioner to make a more meaningful impact, with a focus on mental health an area I am deeply passionate about due to its strong influence on overall well-being, relationships, and quality of life.

As a minority provider, I am committed to creating an inclusive, supportive environment where individuals feel heard, respected, and empowered. Through my work, I strive to reduce stigma, increase access to care, and support healthier communities.
